Chaper 2

I woke up, didn't know what time it was, still night or early in the morning. I sat up on the couch and tried to turn the tv on... The power was out. ,, is it just here or the whole town ?" I asked myself.. I walked to the window and looked out, the whole town was powerless. I went into the kitchen and got a candle, lit it and went into my room to look for my phone. When I found my phone , I checked the time.. It was 4 am.. I went into the kitchen to get myself something to eat, I found nothig good. I stood in front of the sink for awhile and looked out the window.. From the kitchen I had a nice view of the town and the forest next to the town. ,, what the..?" I said to myself. There was someone running out of the forest, with something dark behind them.. ,, a creature"... I got Ash and ran straight outside, I wouldn't let another person get killed by one of those. It started to rain, as I ran to the forest where I had seen the person and the thing. Ash stopped and barked, I heard a scream. It wasn't human... It was the things scream.. I was to late. The thing had already killed the person. I went back into my house, got my iPod and a few knifes, i got dads hunting knife and gun. I walked down town. ,,Fuck I'm hungry" I went to the closest store, broke the window and went in. I found a backpack and food. I filled the backpack with food and water bottles, then I went to the pet store and got dog food. I walked out of the store, and saw someone. Someone tall.. I got the gun and aimed at the tall shadow. ,, You gonna shoot me ?" Said the shadow. ,, Who are you ? " I asked ,, Mah names Jack" he said ,, how come you ain't dead like the others ?" ,, I know how to protect myself" I replayed. ,, Ahh, I see" he walked closer to me, close enough so I could see what he looked like.. Black hair, brown eyes. Tall.. With snake bites. ,, I told you my name, what's yours?" He asked. ,, Names Elizabeth" ,, How old are you?" ,, 17.. You?" ,, 18" Ash barked. ,, SHIT!! BEHIND YOU!!" Yelled Jack I looked behind me.. A creature.. I froze. I had never been so close to one of those, I dropped the gun and fell on my knees. ,,shit shit shit shit" said Jack. He ran to me and picked up the gun, and shot the creature. It screamed and fell on the ground... Dead.. I fell on the ground..
,, Elizabeth!!" Jack fell on his knees besides me. ,, ELIZABETH?!" ,, Iughh" I sat up and touched the back of my head. ,,...ouch" ,, Shit, dude. No. Lay back down" Said Jack. ,, dude. No. We can go to my place. Rest. And look around in the morning. Okay ?" ,, o.. Kay.. But you'll be okay?" ,, I'm a man. I can handle a little walk" I said. Jack helped me stand up, and we walked back home.
